The Viticultori Lariani cooperative is thrilled to announce the opening of a new space dedicated to the promotion of wine and local products: the Enoteca di Montevecchia.
Located in the charming “Piazzetta” of Largo Gaetana Agnesi 12, the Enoteca will be a meeting point for wine lovers and a space for promoting wine tourism, where it will be possible to:
– taste a wide selection of IGT Terre Lariane wines accompanied by selected local gastronomic products
– purchase bottles from selected wineries and create gift packages
– participate in guided tours, themed tastings and enjoy wine tourism experiences
– personally meet the IGT producers.
The Piazzetta di Montevecchia, with its view of the plain and the city of Milan, enjoys intense traffic from all the hinterland of Milan and Lake Como and boasts notoriety on a tourist level, inserted in the context of the Regional Park of Curone and Brianza
The Enoteca will host the wines of the Terre Lariane, coming from the territories of the two provinces on which the IGT insists. The objective is twofold: to enhance the wine heritage of the area and to make the Terre Lariane wines easily available in one place.
Much more than a simple shop: the Enoteca di Montevecchia will also be the space of cultural value for events and activities related to the world of wine.
The vineyards of Viticultori Lariani, skillfully terraced along the steep slopes of the hills of the area, tell the story of a wine production with ancient roots. The temperature variations, characterized by large temperature changes between day and night, represent a distinctive element that gives the wines of the producers a unique profile. This thermal variation helps to develop the aromatic complexity of the grapes, giving elegance, freshness and a pleasant flavor to the various labels.
Enoteca di Montevecchia opened to the public on December 12, 2024. The first months of activity have already generated considerable interest that has immediately attracted a young target audience interested in the world of wine in the Piazzetta also famous for its sunsets and the view of the City of Milan. Enoteca di Montevecchia is only at the beginning of its history and the goal is to make it increasingly the reference space in wine tourism in the area from Lake Como to the Brianza Hills.
